1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant from the radiator. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [ZY].)
3. Disconnect the EGR valve connector.
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Replace the EGR valve gasket.
