1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Install the wiper and washer switch harness shown in the figure onto the clock spring hook.
1. Insert the wiper and washer switch groove and hook shown in the figure into the body.
2. Insert the wiper and washer switch tab into the body until it is engaged with the body.
