VACUUM PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo]

1. Remove the following parts:
- (1) Windshield wiper arm and blade (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
- (2) Front fender molding (See FRONT FENDER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
- (3) Cowl grille (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
- (4) Windshield wiper motor (See WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
- (5) Cowl panel (See COWL PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
- (6) Fresh-air duct No.1 (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)
- (7) Fresh-air duct No.2 (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)
- (8) Air cleaner cover (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)
- (9) Air cleaner element (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)
- (10) Air cleaner case (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)
- (11) MAF/IAT sensor (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)
- (12) Air hose No.1 (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Vacuum Hose Removal Note
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose (vacuum pump side) in the order shown in the figure.
Vacuum Hose Installation Note
1. Insert the vacuum hose to the vacuum pump in the order shown in the figure.
2. Pull the vacuum hose to verify that it does not come off, and reinsert it completely.
