TRANSAXLE OIL INSPECTION [B65M-R]

1.  Park the vehicle on level ground.

2.  Remove the cable box cover.

3.  Disconnect the shift cable. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [B65M-R].)

4.  Disconnect the select cable. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [B65M-R].)

5.  Remove the oil level plug and washer.

6.  Verify that the oil level is as shown in the figure.

•  If the oil level is lower than the low level, add the specified type of oil through the oil level plug hole until the level reaches the bottom of the oil level plug hole.

7.  Install a new oil level plug and washer to manual transaxle.

Tightening torque
35 N·m {3.6 kgf·m, 26 ft·lbf}

8.  Connect the select cable. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [B65M-R].)

9.  Connect the shift cable. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [B65M-R].)

10.  Install the cable box cover.
