INTERLOCK CABLE INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the interlock cable from the selector lever.

2.  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

3.  Verify that the interlock cable moves smoothly when the brake pedal is depressed.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the interlock cable. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
