DTC	C1B00:54, C1B00:95		Steering angle sensor
DETECTION CONDITION		•  C1B00:54 ―  Mis-assembly of the steering angle sensor is detected (Absolute angle position has been cleared from the memory). ―  Malfunction inside the EPS control module is detected. •  C1B00:95 ―  Mis-assembly of the steering angle sensor is detected (Absolute angle position remains in the memory but deviates from the actual absolute angle position).
POSSIBLE CAUSE		•  After disconnecting from the steering gear (pinion), in such cases where the steering column is removed/installed or the intermediate shaft is disconnected, the steering shaft installation is performed with the steering shaft rotated 360-degree by mistake. •  EPS control module malfunction.

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY EPS WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATION CONDITION •  Turn the ignition switch off. •  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and verify the EPS warning light illumination condition. •  Does the EPS warning light illuminate?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Verify that the EPS warning light is flashing or turned off, then go to Step 3.
2	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear the DTC from the memory. (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.) •  Verify if any DTCs are displayed. •  Is the same DTC present? (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)	Yes	Replace the steering column. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D.].) (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [R.H.D.].)
		No	Go to Step 5.
3	PERFORM EPS STEERING ANGLE CALIBRATION •  Perform EPS steering angle calibration using the M-MDS. (See EPS STEERING ANGLE CALIBRATION.)		After the EPS steering angle calibration is completed, turn the ignition switch off, and then go to the next step.
4	VERIFY THAT SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT •  Clear the DTC from the memory. (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.) •  Start the engine and turn the steering wheel fully lock-to-lock. •  Is the same DTC present? (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the steering column. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D.].) (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [R.H.D.].)
		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT •  Are any other DTCs output? (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
