Detection Condition

• Keyless receiver not connecting

Possible Causes

• Open or short circuit in wiring harness between keyless receiver and keyless control module

• Keyless receiver malfunction

• Keyless control module malfunction

INSPECT KEYLESS RECEVER CONNECTOR

•  Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.

•  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

•  Disconnect the keyless receiver connector.

•  Inspect the keyless receiver connector. (Corrosion, damage, and disconnected pins)

•  Are the connector and terminals normal?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Repair/replace the keyless receiver connector or terminal.

INSPECT KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE CONNECTOR

•  Disconnect the keyless control module connector.

•  Inspect the keyless control module connector. (Corrosion, damage, and disconnected pins)

•  Are the connector and terminals normal?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Repair/replace the keyless control module connector or terminal.

INSPECT KEYLESS RECEIVER

•  Reconnect the disconnected connectors.

•  Connect the negative battery cable.

•  Inspect the keyless receiver.

•  Is the keyless receiver normal?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Replace the keyless receiver.

VERIFY DTCs

•  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS.
(See CLEARING DTC [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].)

•  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS.
(See DTC INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].)

•  Is DTC U201F:13 displayed?

Yes

Replace the keyless control module.

(See KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].)

No

DTC troubleshooting completed.

3	INSPECT KEYLESS RECEIVER • Reconnect the disconnected connectors. • Connect the negative battery cable. • Inspect the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) • Is the keyless receiver normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Replace the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].)
4	VERIFY DTCs • Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) • Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) • Is DTC U201F:13 displayed?	Yes	Replace the keyless control module. 4		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
