PRESSURE REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Complete the "BEFORE REPAIR PROCEDURE". (See BEFORE REPAIR PROCEDURE.)

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the air cleaner cover.

4. Set the wiring harness bracket out of the way.

5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.


1	Fuel hose (See Fuel Hose Installation Note)
2	Pressure regulator

Caution

• When assembling the pressure regulator, always tighten the bolts after securely attaching the pressure regulator flange to the fuel distributor, otherwise the resulting poor installation may cause damage to the fuel distributor.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

7. Complete the "AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE". (See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE.)
