FUEL-FILLER LID AND OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. To remove the clip and the lift spring, remove the trunk side trim (LH).

2. To remove the fuel-filler lid opener lever, remove the front scuff plate (RH).

3. To remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable, perform the following and partially peel back the floor covering.

(1) Remove the front seat (RH).

(2) Remove the front scuff plate (RH).

(3) Remove the rear scuff plate.

(4) Remove the B-pillar lower trim (RH).

(5) Remove the lower anchor of the front seat belt (RH).

(6) Remove the rear seat.

(7) Remove the tire house trim.

4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

6. Adjust the fuel-filler lid. (See FUEL-FILLER LID ADJUSTMENT.)

Fuel-filler Lid Opener Cable Removal Note

1. Rotate the fuel-filler lid opener cable from inside of the vehicle so that the tabs can be disengaged from the clip.

2. Slide the fuel-filler lid opener cable towards the rear of the vehicle, and remove it from the clip.
