VARIABLE TUMBLE SHUTTER VALVE ACTUATOR INSPECTION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5]

Operation inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5].)

2.  Remove the variable tumble shutter valve actuator.

3.  Connect the battery positive voltage to terminal A or B, and verify that the gear moves.

A	B
B+	Ground	Counterclockwise
Ground	B+	Clockwise

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the variable tumble shutter valve actuator. (See VARIABLE TUMBLE SHUTTER VALVE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5].)
