• Connect the M-MDS to DLC-2.
• Retrieve the ABS CM DTC.
• Is the DTC U3000:47, U3000:48 or U3000:49 displayed?

Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting procedure.

Go to the next step.

INSPECT FOR DTCS IN INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
• Retrieve the instrument cluster DTC.
• Is the DTC displayed?

Yes

Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting procedure.

INSPECT WHETHER MALFUNCTION IS IN ABS CM OR INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
• Turn on all warning light and indicator light using M-MDS simulation function WL+IL?
• Does the ABS warning light illuminate?

Yes
|
ABS CM internal malfunctions.
Replace the ABS CM.

No
|
Replace the instrument cluster.
