2. Remove the drive plate.

(1) Set the SST against the drive plate.

(2) Loosen the drive plate installation bolts in two or three steps in the order as shown in the figure, then remove the bolts and the drive plate.

(3) Remove the adaptor.

3. Install the drive plate.

(1) Set the drive plate and adapter to the engine and tighten with new installation bolts.

(2) Set the SST against the drive plate.

(3) Tighten the drive plate mounting bolts in two or three steps in the order as shown in the figure.

Tightening torque

97—103 N·m {9.9—10 kgf·m, 72—75 ft·lbf}
