Purpose, Function

• The air bypass valve adjusts the intake air pressure by bypassing the boosted intake air pressure.

Construction

• The air bypass valve is located near the supercharger.

Operation

• The air bypass valve decreases the motor speed so that the valve is driven to adjust the intake airflow.

• The intake air pressure is controlled by opening/closing the air bypass valve.
