POWER SEAT SWITCH INSPECTION

Warning

•  Handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated).

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)])

2.  Remove the power seat switch. (See FRONT SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)])

3.  Verify that the continuity between the power seat switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as specified, replace the power seat switch. (See POWER SEAT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)])
