|
• The adaptive LED headlights control module cannot receive the signal from the acceleration sensor.

Fail-safe
|
• Perform the following controls with the adaptive LED headlights turned on.
• The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.

INSPECT ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS CONTROL MODULE FOR MALFUNCTION
• Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
(See CLEARING DTC.)
• Perform the DTC inspection for the adaptive LED headlights control module.
(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Is the same Pending DTC present?

Yes
|
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, replace the adaptive LED headlights control module and perform the repair completion verification.

No
|
Go to the next step.

Repair completion verification
|
VERIFY IF OTHER DTC IS DISPLAYED
• Perform the DTC inspection.
(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Are any other DTCs displayed?

Yes
|
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
