1. Remove the following parts. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE DISASSEMBLY.)
2. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
3. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

1. Rotate the manual shaft to the P position.
2. Knock the crimped portion of the locknut outward by using a small chisel and a hammer.
3. Remove the lock nut.
1. Remove the output gear component. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE DISASSEMBLY.)
2. Remove the output gear and inner race to the secondary gear component using the SST.
1. Install the output gear to the secondary gear component using the SST.
Press-in force
2. Install the inner race to the secondary gear component using the SST.
Press-in force
1. Install the following parts. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE DISASSEMBLY.)
2. Rotate the manual shaft to the P position.
3. Install the locknut.
4. Stake the locknut.
