DTC P138B

Glow plug relay control system voltage problem

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM monitors the input voltage from glow plug relay signal. If the voltage at PCM deviates from the threshold, the PCM determines that the glow plug relay control system has a malfunction.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Glow plug relay connector or terminal malfunction
•  Short to ground circuit in wiring harness between glow plug relay terminal C and PCM terminal 132
•  Glow plug relay malfunction
•  PCM connector or terminal malfunction
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between glow plug relay terminal C and PCM terminal 132
•  PCM malfunction
