Resistance Inspection

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.  Remove the fuel delivery pipe. (See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

4.  Disconnect the fuel injector connector.

5.  Inspect the resistance between fuel injector terminals A and B.

Fuel injector resistance
1.0—1.2 ohms [20 °C {68 °F}]
•  If not within the specification, replace the fuel injector. (See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)
