KNOCK SENSOR (KS) INSPECTION [ZY, Z6]

Resistance Inspection

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ZY, Z6].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.  Disconnect the KS connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between the KS terminal A and body ground using an ohmmeter.

•  If not as specified, replace the KS. (See KNOCK SENSOR (KS) INSPECTION [ZY, Z6].)
