KNOCK SENSOR (KS) INSPECTION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop]

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.  Disconnect the KS connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between the KS terminals A and B using an ohmmeter.

•  If not as specified, replace the KS. (See KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)
