OIL PAN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [DJVA-EL]

1.  Remove the aerodynamic under cover NO.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Drain the CVT fluid. (See CVT (CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE) FLUID REPLACEMENT [DJVA-EL].)

3.  Remove the oil pan.

(1)  Remove the oil pan installation bolts.

Caution

•  Do not damage the fitting surface of the transaxle case and the oil pan.

•  Do not deform the oil pan.

(2)  Using a plastic hammer, tap the oil pan to remove it and gasket.

(3)  Remove the oil cleaner magnet from oil pan.

4.  Clean the contact surface of the oil pan.

Note

•  Completely remove sealant and oil with white gasoline or similar.

(1)  Clean sealant and oil off the contact surface of the transaxle case with the oil pan.

(2)  lean sealant and oil off the contact surface of the transaxle case with the bolt holes

5.  Install the oil pan.

(1)  Install the oil cleaner magnet to oil pan

(2)  Install the new gasket and oil pan.

Tightening torque

6.0—7.9 N·m {62—80 kgf·cm, 54—69 in·lbf}

6.  Adjust the CVT fluid level. (See CVT (CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE) FLUID LEVEL ADJUSTMENT [DJVA-EL].)

7.  Install the aerodynamic under cover NO.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
