DTC P2246 [L3 Turbo]
id0102b7813300
DTC P2246 |
A/F sensor reference voltage circuit high input |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors the A/F sensor reference voltage circuit voltage. If the voltage is above the threshold value while the engine is running, the PCM determines that the A/F sensor reference voltage circuit is high.
Diagnostic support note
• This is a continuous monitor. (A/F sensor, HO2S)
• MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunctioning condition in two consecutive drive cycles or in one drive cycle while the DTC for the same malfunction has been stored in the PCM.
• PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction conditions during the first drive cycle.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
• DTCs are stored in the PCM memory.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• A/F sensor malfunction
• Connector or terminal malfunction
• Short to the power circuit between PCM terminal 2Y and A/F sensor terminal 2C
• Open circuit between PCM terminal 2Y and A/F sensor terminal 2C
• Open circuit between PCM terminal 2M and A/F sensor terminal 2A
• PCM malfunction
