TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [F35M-R]

Caution
•  There are two types of transaxle oil for this type of transaxle corresponding to the vehicle identification number. If the engine oil is replaced or supplemented, add oil which corresponds to the vehicle identification number and do not use oil of a different type. If a different type of oil is added, it could result in a transaxle malfunction.

1.  Park the vehicle on level ground.

2.  Remove the under cover.

3.  Remove the vehicle speed sensor (without ABS)/hole cover (with ABS). (See VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (WITHOUT ABS) [F35M-R].)

4.  Remove the drain plug with the washer.

5.  Drain the oil into a suitable container.

6.  Install a new washer and the drain plug.

Tightening torque
39—59 N·m {4.0—6.0 kgf·m, 29—43 ft·lbf}

7.  Add the specified amount and type of oil through the vehicle speed sensor (without ABS)/hole cover (with ABS) installation hole until the level reaches as shown in the figure.

Tightening torque
7.8—11 N·m {80—112 kgf·cm, 70—97 ft·lbf}

9.  Install the under cover.
