• Inspect the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR INSPECTION.)
• Is it normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

• Disconnect the climate control unit connector and the solar radiation sensor connector.
• Is there continuity between the following terminals of the climate control unit and the solar radiation sensor?

― Climate control unit terminal S—solar radiation sensor terminal B― Climate control unit terminal P—solar radiation sensor terminal A
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair the wiring harness.

• Is there a short circuit to ground in the wiring harness between climate control unit terminal S and solar radiation sensor terminal B?
Yes
Repair the wiring harness.
No
