KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the front scuff plate (Passenger’s side) (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the front side trim. (Passenger’s side) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the glove compartment. (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Pull the keyless control module in the direction of the arrow while pushing the tab and remove the module from the bracket.

6.  Disconnect the keyless control module connector.

7.  Remove the keyless control module.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

9.  When replacing the keyless control module, register the transmitter ID codes. (See TRANSMITTER ID CODE REGISTRATION.)
