Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS CD PLAYER DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY • Clear the CD player DTCs. (See CLEARING DTC [AUDIO UNIT].) • Perform CD troubleshooting using the diagnostic assist function. (See DIAGNOSTIC ASSIST FUNCTION [AUDIO UNIT].) • Perform a CD player DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [AUDIO UNIT].) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Replace the CD player, then go to the next step. (See CD PLAYER REMOVAL.) (See CD PLAYER INSTALLATION.)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY OTHER DTCs • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [AUDIO UNIT].)
2	VERIFY OTHER DTCs • Are any other DTCs displayed?	No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
