Outline
• The washer fluid level warning system notifies the user of a low washer fluid level in the washer tank.
Function
• The front body control module (FBCM) controls the washer fluid level warning system based on the signals from the washer fluid-level sensor.
• When the washer fluid level in the washer tank becomes low, the front body control module (FBCM) turns the low washer fluid level warning light on in the instrument cluster.
• For vehicles with center display, a warning message in the center display is displayed when the low washer fluid level warning light is turned on. For the message content and verification method, refer to the CENTER DISPLAY. (See

• For instrument cluster type B, a warning message in the multi-information display is displayed simultaneously when the low washer fluid level warning light is illuminated. For the message content, refer to the MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY. (See

Operation
1. When the washer fluid level in the washer tank becomes low, the front body control module (FBCM) detects a washer fluid-level sensor on signal.
2. When the front body control module (FBCM) receives the washer fluid-level sensor on signal, it sends a low washer fluid level warning light on request signal to the instrument cluster as a CAN signal.
3. When the instrument cluster receives the low washer fluid level warning light on request signal, it turns the low washer fluid level warning light on.
