ANTENNA FEEDER NO.3 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [MZR 1.6].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Liftgate upper trim (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Trunk side upper trim (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Rear assist handle (See ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Partially peel back the headliner.

Note

•  If the headliner is peeled back excessively, the headliner could become creased. Be careful not to peel back the headliner excessively.

4.  Partially peel the liftgate grommet.

5.  While pressing the tab of the liftgate grommet inner in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure using the remover tool, pull the liftgate grommet inner in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure to detach the tab of the liftgate grommet inner from the liftgate.

6.  Detach all the tabs of the liftgate grommet inner from the liftgate and remove the liftgate grommet inner.

7.  Disconnect the connector. (with DAB antenna)

8.  Disconnect rear washer hose D from joint pipe F.

9.  Disconnect the connectors.

10.  Disconnect the rear washer hose D from joint pipe E.

11.  Remove the bolt. (with DAB antenna)

12.  Remove the clips A, B, C, D and E in the position shown in the figure.

13.  Remove the antenna feeder No.3.

14.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
