Note

•  If the procedure is performed while holding the tweeter cone, it could deform the cone causing a malfunction. Therefore, perform the procedure while holding any part other than the cone.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [MZR 1.6].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

2.  Remove the center speaker grille. (See SPEAKER GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the mazda era-glonass speaker. (See MAZDA ERA-GLONASS SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Verify that the resistance between the mazda era-glonass speaker terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the tweeter.
