Note
•  The blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module prior to replacement stores the vehicle specification information.
•  A new blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module does not store any vehicle specification information.
•  When the ignition is switched ON after the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module is replaced, the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module reads the vehicle specification information sent via CAN transmission from the instrument cluster using the automatic configuration function, and stores it.

Caution
•  If the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module is replaced, not performing the blind spot monitoring (BSM) radar aiming will cause a deviation in the radar emission angle which could result in the system not detecting a vehicle approaching from the rear correctly. When the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module is replaced, perform the blind spot monitoring (BSM) radar aiming.

11.  When the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module is replaced, perform the blind spot monitoring (BSM) radar aiming. (See BLIND SPOT MONITORING (BSM) RADAR AIMING [Except Australian specs.].)
