EGR VALVE INSPECTION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop]

Resistance Inspection

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

3.  Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

4.  Disconnect the EGR valve connector.

5.  Measure the resistance between the EGR valve terminals.

Terminals	Resistance (ohms)
C—E C—A D—B D—F	8—9 (At room temperature)

•  If not within the specification, replace the EGR valve. (See EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)
