Resistance Inspection

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

3.  Disconnect the EGR valve connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between the EGR valve terminals.

EGR valve terminals	Resistance (ohms)
C—A D—B C—E D—F	12—16 (At room temperature)

•  If not as specified, replace the EGR valve. (See EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo])
