CHECK VALVE INSPECTION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo]

1.  Disconnect the vacuum hose connected between the check valve and the purge solenoid valve from the purge solenoid valve. (See PURGE SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

2.  Disconnect the vacuum hose connected between the check valve and the intake manifold from the intake manifold. (See QUICK RELEASE CONNECTOR (EMISSION SYSTEM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

3.  Blow through the check valve and verify that air flows as specified.

*  :The check valve is normal if the aeration to port A is 3.5 kPa/min {0.03 kgf/cm2 min, 0.5 psi/min} or less when 130 kPa {1.32 kgf/cm2, 18.9 psi} is applied to port B.
