Purpose, Function

• Warns the driver of a charging system malfunction.

Construction

• The generator warning light is built into the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.)

Operation

• Illuminates when a malfunction occurs in the charging system and a DTC is stored in the PCM.
