Resistance Inspection

Note
•  Because the IAT sensor is integrated in the MAF sensor, replacing the IAT sensor includes replacement of the MAF/IAT sensor.

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.5, MZR 1.6].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.5, MZR 1.6].)

3.  Disconnect the MAF/IAT sensor connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between MAF/IAT sensor terminals D and E.

•  If not as specified, replace the MAF/IAT sensor. (See MASS AIR FLOW (MAF)/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.5, MZR 1.6].)
