NEUTRAL SWITCH INSPECTION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]

Continuity Inspection

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

3.  Disconnect the neutral switch connector. (See NEUTRAL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F35M-R].) (See NEUTRAL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R (EXCEPT MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop)].)

4.  When the shift lever is in neutral and in a position other than neutral, verify that the continuity between neutral switch terminals A to B is according to the following table:
