•  Perform the following test only when directed.

Resistance Inspection

Note

•  The fuel temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the fuel temperature sensor, replace it together with the supply pump as a single unit.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.  Remove the supply pump. (See SUPPLY PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

3.  Measure the resistance between fuel temperature sensor terminals A and B.
