Excessive shift shock on torque converter clutch (TCC)

DESCRIPTION
•  Strong shock is felt when torque converter clutch (TCC) is engaged.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Deviation from the input sensor characteristic or a torque converter clutch (TCC) pressure-adjusting system malfunction can be considered possible malfunctions. (Because lock-up does not operate based on fail-safe function activation when an open or short circuit occurs, shift shock does not occur.) The symptom troubleshooting procedure is basically the same as, "NO.11 TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH (TCC) NON-OPERATION". (See NO.11 TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH (TCC) NON-OPERATION [DJVA-EL].)
•  Excessive operation pressure on torque converter clutch (TCC)
―  Line pressure low
―  Input signal malfunction (Characteristic defective)
•  APP sensor
•  CKP sensor
•  Input/turbine speed sensor
•  Transaxle fluid temperature (TFT) sensor
•  VSS
•  Sensor GND
―  Control solenoid malfunction (Sticking)
•  Torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid
•  Torque converter clutch (TCC) engage solenoid
•  Body GND
―  Control valve body malfunction (Improper operation, stuck, restrict oil line)
•  Torque converter clutch (TCC) operation system
•  Line pressure-adjusting
