• Inspect the connection of the multi information display connectors.
• Are the multi information display connectors connected securely?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Securely connect the multi information display.
|

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS DAMAGE AND/OR PULLED-OUT MULTI INFORMATION DISPLAY CONNECTOR TERMINAL
• Disconnect the multi information display connectors.
• Are all the pins normal?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
If the multi information display connector is incorrect:
• Replace the multi information display.
If the wiring harness-side connector is incorrect:
• Repair or replace the pins and/or the connector.

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS OPEN CIRCUIT IN MULTI INFORMATION DISPLAY GROUND CIRCUIT
• Switch the ignition to off.
• Disconnect the multi information display connector.
• Verify if there is continuity between the multi information display vehicle side connector terminal 1W and body ground.
• Is there continuity?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair the open circuit in the wiring harness.
Verify the connection condition of the ground point, and repair.

INSPECT MULTI INFORMATION DISPLAY POWER SUPPLY (B+) SYSTEM
• Leave the multi information display connector disconnected.
• Measure the voltage between multi information display wiring harness side connector terminal 1A and body ground.
• Is the voltage B+?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Inspect the ROOM 15A fuse.
If the fuse is damaged:
• Replace the ROOM 15A fuse.
If the fuse is burned out:
• Inspect and repair the wiring harness between the ROOM 15A fuse and multi information display terminal 1A for a short circuit to the ground system.
If the fuse is not damaged or burned out:
• Inspect and repair the wiring harness for an open circuit between battery positive terminal and multi information display terminal 1A.

INSPECT MULTI INFORMATION DISPLAY POWER SUPPLY (ACC) SYSTEM
• Leave the multi information display connector disconnected.
• Switch the ignition to ACC.
• Measure the voltage between multi information display wiring harness side connector terminal 1C and body ground.
• Is the voltage B+?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Inspect the AUDIO 7.5A fuse.
If the fuse is damaged:
• Replace the AUDIO 7.5A fuse.
If the fuse is burned out:
• Inspect and repair the wiring harness between the AUDIO 7.5A fuse and multi information display terminal 1C for a short circuit to the ground system.
If the fuse is not damaged or burned out:
• Inspect and repair the following wiring harness for an open circuit:

INSPECT MULTI INFORMATION DISPLAY POWER SUPPLY (IG1) SYSTEM
• Leave the multi information display connector disconnected.
• Switch the ignition to on.
• Measure the voltage between multi information display wiring harness side connector terminal 1E and body ground.
• Is the voltage B+?

Yes
|
Replace the multi information display. (Multi information display internal malfunction)
|
No
|
Inspect the METER 15A fuse.
If the fuse is damaged:
• Replace the METER 15A fuse.
If the fuse is burned out:
• Inspect and repair the wiring harness between the METER 15A fuse and multi information display terminal 1E for a short circuit to the ground system.
If the fuse is not damaged or burned out:
• Inspect and repair the following wiring harness for an open circuit:
