•  Displayed stage level may indicate lower level by more than two stages compared with previous driving
•  Significantly different average score from previous average score is displayed

Note
•  When travel time is short for one time (number of required accelerator, brake, and steering operations for determining driving diagnosis is low), driving diagnosis may not be displayed.
•  Instrument cluster ground system malfunction
―  Open circuit in wiring harness between instrument cluster terminal 2K and body ground
―  Ground point loosening or lifting
•  Instrument cluster internal circuit malfunction
•  Communication error between instrument cluster and PCM
•  Instrument cluster malfunction
•  Communication error between instrument cluster and multi information display
•  Multi information display malfunction

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS COMMUNICATION ERROR
•  Using the M-MDS, verify DTCs for PCM, information display/multi information display and instrument cluster.
•  Can CAN related DTCs be verified?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
No
•  System is normal.
If the vehicle is normal, refer to INTELLIGENT DRIVE MASTER (i-DM) for instruction, and explain the contents of the driving operation determination and display to the customer to have them understand that there is no problem in the system.
•  Symptom troubleshooting is completed.
