POWER RELAY INSPECTION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop]

Caution

•  If the power relay is replaced, reset the operation amount of the power relay stored in the PCM using the M-MDS. (See POWER RELAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

2.  Lift up the vehicle.

3.  Remove the aerodynamic under cover NO.2 (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the power relay. (See POWER RELAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

5.  Verify the continuity between power relay terminals B and C with battery positive voltage applied to power relay terminal A, and the ground connected at the position shown in the figure.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the power relay.
