1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the trunk lid trim. (4SD) (SeeTRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove the service hole cover. (5HB)
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Insert the inboard light into the trunk lid (liftgate) as shown in the figure, then pivot it inward and fix in place.
2. Push the bracket onto the trunk lid (liftgate) as shown in the figure and install.
