DTC P0121:00

APP sensor No.1/No.2 position correlation problem

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM monitors the input signals from the APP sensor No.1 and the APP sensor No.2. If the difference between the APP sensor No.1 voltage and the APP sensor No.2 voltage is more than 0.5 V, the PCM determines that there is a malfunction in the APP sensor characteristic.
MONITORING CONDITIONS
―  Battery voltage: 8—20 V
Diagnostic support note
•  The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
•  FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available.
•  The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  APP sensor No.1 malfunction
•  APP sensor No.2 malfunction
•  PCM malfunction
