CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G35M-R]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)
2. Remove the battery and battery tray. (L.H.D.)(See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
5. Fully depress the clutch pedal, and verify that the engine starts.

Starter Interlock Switch Installation Note
1. After installing the clutch pedal component, adjust/inspect the clutch pedal. (See CLUTCH PEDAL INSPECTION/ADJUSTMENT [G35M-R].)
2. Insert a new starter interlock switch into the pedal bracket hole in the direction of arrow A.
3. While pressing the starter interlock switch in the direction of arrow A, slide it until it locks in the direction of arrow B to secure it.
4. Fully depress the clutch pedal in the direction of arrow C, and verify that a click sound from the starter interlock switch is heard.
