CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R]

Caution
•  If clutch fluid gets on a painted surface, it will cause the paint to peel. Be careful not to spill clutch fluid on the painted surfaces. Wash off any spilled clutch fluid with water immediately.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (L.H.D.)(See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)(See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI].)

2.  Remove the battery and battery tray. (L.H.D.)(See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)(See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI].)

3.  Remove the insulator. (MZR 2.0 DISI, MZR 2.5)(R.H.D.)

4.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

5.  Plug the clutch pipe after removing it to avoid leakage.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

7.  If clutch system-related hydraulic parts are removed, supply clutch fluid, bleed air, and inspect for fluid leakage after the installation. (See CLUTCH FLUID AIR BLEEDING/REPLACEMENT [G66M-R].)
