CLUTCH DISC INSPECTION [A26M-R]

1. Refer to CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION to remove the clutch disc. (See CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26M-R].)

2. Using vernier calipers, measure the thickness of the lining at a rivet head on both sides.

• If it less than the minimum specification, replace the clutch disc. (See CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26M-R].)

Minimum clutch disc thickness

0.3 mm {0.01 in}

3. Measure the clutch disc runout using a dial indicator.

• If it exceeds the maximum specification, replace the clutch disc. (See CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26M-R].)

Maximum clutch disc runout

0.7 mm {0.03 in}

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

5. Add the specified amount of specified transaxle oil. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [A26M-R].)
