DTC	U0300:00/U2100:00/U3000:85		EPS configuration
DETECTION CONDITION		•  EPS control module detects configuration data not read or data error
POSSIBLE CAUSE		•  Module configuration procedure was not completed properly. •  EPS control module malfunction.

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM EPS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION •  Perform the EPS control module configuration using the M-MDS. (See EPS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION.)		After completing the EPS control module configuration, switch the ignition to off, and then go to the next step.
2	VERIFY THAT SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT •  Clear the DTC from the memory. (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.) •  Is the same DTC present? (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the EPS control module. (See EPS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT •  Are any other DTCs output? (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
