Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION •  Perform the configuration for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION.) •  Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC.) •  Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC DISPLAY.) •  Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Perform the SAS control module configuration, then go to the next step. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION.)
		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs ARE DISPLAYED •  Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC.) •  Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC DISPLAY.) •  Are DTCs displayed other the B0003:53?	Yes	Perform a separate inspection of the applicable DTCs. (See DTC TABLE.)
		No	Go to the next step.
3	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION •  Switch the ignition to off then switch the ignition to ON. •  Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC.) •  Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC DISPLAY.) •  Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Replace the SAS control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
