1.  Open the Trunk lid.

2.  Remove the trunk covering.

3.  Remove the trunk board No.3. (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the hole cover.

5.  Open the urea-filler cap.

6.  Completely drain the remaining adBlue® in the urea tank using a hand-operated pump.

7.  Refill the adBlue®.

8.  After replacing the adBlue® in the urea tank, perform the following procedure so that the vehicle can detect the amount of adBlue® in the urea tank again.

Using M-MDS
1.  Connect the negative battery terminal. (SeeNEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
2.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
3.  After the vehicle is identified, select the following item from the initial screen of the M-MDS.
1.  Select the “Powertrain”.
2.  Select the “SCR”.
3.  Select the “SCR function”.
4.  Select the “Reset for urea tank level”.
Without using M-MDS
1.  Drive the vehicle for 1.5 to 2.0 hours at 2 km/h {1 mph} or more.
