Resistance Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Disconnect the urea pump connector. (See UREA PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

3.  Inspect the resistance between urea pump terminals A and B.

―  If not within the specification, replace the urea pump. (See UREA PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

Urea pump (siphoning side) resistance (specification)
3.5—4.7 ohms

4.  Inspect the resistance between urea pump terminals C and D.

―  If not within the specification, replace the urea pump. (See UREA PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)
